Thrissur: The government would take the correct decision regarding prosecution in the Lavalin case, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan told mediapersons in Thrissur today as his Nava Kerala Yatra takes a round of the district. Pinarayi Vijayan is the ninth accused in the case, along with others.

Consumers cashed in on the price rise by selling scrap gold, traders said. Gold futures on the continuation chart on the Multi Commodity Exchange touched a high of 14,407 rupees per 10 grams at 2:14 pm.

Bangalore: ISRO has released the first pictures received from Chandrayaan - I satellite. The black and white pictures were received from the terrain mapping camera of the satellite. The first picture taken at a distance of 9000 kms shows the western coast of Australia.
